WASEAN NCAA Football Ratings–2011 Week 9

Not a whole lot of commentary this week . . . like everyone else, WASEAN has Alabama and LSU way ahead of the pack. Unless the game this weekend is a blowout, both will probably remain 1-2 afterwards.

Stanford’s rating dropped significantly after going to OT with USC, but they had enough of a lead that they are still clinging to #3 over Boise State.

From there it’s another big drop down to the pack of Oregon, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Wisconsin.

Houston is starting to gain some ground, moving up 6 places from #18 to #12. I can’t see them going too much higher. They are closer to #18 than #10.

WASEAN was not a big fan of Clemson, sending them into Saturday’s duel with Georgia Tech ranked #16 – lower than just about anyone else. After a 31-17 loss to #43 Georgia Tech the Tigers sit at #24.
